Cancer Center: Your First Visit |
We want to make your first visit to the Center as comfortable as possible.
Knowing what to expect ahead of time can help reduce any anxiety. If, after reviewing the information below, you still have questions, please call the Cancer Center at 503.435.6590.
- Click here for driving directions. Park in the free parking lot near the entrance to the Cancer Center. Wheelchairs are available for use and can be found in our front lobby.
- Upon arrival you will check in at the front reception area. The receptionist will take a copy of your insurance card(s) and have you sign any required forms.
- Following this, a nurse or medical assistant will take you to one of our exam rooms and go over your medical history and medications. It is helpful if you bring a list of medications with you to your appointment.
- You will meet with your physician who will go over you medical history and, in some cases, do a physical exam.
- We understand you probably have a lot of questions for your physician. It is helpful if you write a list of questions to bring with you to your appointment.
