Cancer Center: Patient Resources

Education

The Cancer Center lobby boasts a convenient patient education area, generously donated by the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation. Included in the education area are a computer for patients to learn more about their specific type of cancer and a library from which patients and family can check out a variety of books.

Nutritional Counseling

Nutrition plays a vital role in your well being during your fight against cancer. A licensed dietitian is available to help you address your personal dietary problems or needs.

Social Services

The staff at the Cancer Center understands that cancer is a very difficult disease. The center provides resources that will help you and your family to cope, as you are living through cancer. Social workers are available to assist you in finding resources for your needs, such as help in finding financial assistance, support groups or transportation to and from the center.
