The state-of-the-art Cancer Center opened in 2002 and offers both radiation treatment and chemotherapy services for cancer patients as well as hematology services for patients with certain blood disorders.

The Center, which was commended by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, was built with a special focus on patient comfort, privacy and convenience. In addition to the open and airy interior design, sculptures, fountains, watercolor paintings and other art by local artists enhance the pleasant surroundings.

In the radiation treatment area, rooms are equipped with customized, back-lit ceiling panels featuring a scenic landscape, just one more specialized touch to add to overall comfort. In the chemotherapy treatment area, comfort means reclining leather chairs, televisions, a nearby kitchenette, private restrooms, privacy drapes and full window-walls that fill the room with natural light.

We have also tried to make your trip to and from the Center as easy as possible. There is easy access off of Highway 18. Parking is free and there is plenty of it just steps from the entrance to the Cancer Center. For your convenience, there is even an enclosed, heated and covered walkway that connects the center to the hospital.
