What do I do if I think I may have cancer?

How do I get an appointment?

In most cases, first time appointments are made by your referring physician's office.

What can I expect for my first visit?

We want to make your first visit to the Center as comfortable as possible. Knowing what to expect ahead of time can help reduce any anxiety. Please click here to review what you can expect during your first visit.

How long do the treatments take?

Radiation treatments are scheduled daily Monday through Friday. These treatments generally take just a few minutes each day. Chemotherapy treatments may last from a few minutes to several hours depending on the treatment you receive.

Can I eat before I have treatment?

You may eat a regular meal as you would any other day, unless otherwise directed by your physician.

Will radiation therapy make me radioactive?

No. After treatment you will not be radioactive. You can continue to enjoy the same contact with your family and friends as before your diagnosis without fear of exposing them to radiation.
