ENT Specialist and Surgeon, Cristian Slough, Joins Hospital Staff

McMinnville, OR —ENT Specialist and Surgeon Cristian Slough, MD, has joined the staffs of Willamette Valley Medical Center and Willamette Valley Ear, Nose and Throat.

Slough earned his degrees in medicine and surgery at the University of Nottingham Medical School in the United Kingdom. He completed two fellowships at Harvard University School of Medicine, the first as a research fellow in otolaryngology and the second as a clinical otolaryngology fellow specializing in thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at Oregon Health Sciences University. The field of otolaryngology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck disorders.

Slough has published extensively on the treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disorders, including cancer. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Oregon Society of Otolaryngology, and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh, Scotland, UK).
