General Surgeon, Sandeep Kumar, Joins Hospital Staff

McMinnville, OR — General Surgeon Sandeep Kumar, MD, has joined the staff at Willamette Valley Medical Center and McMinnville Surgical Associates.

Sandeep Kumar earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and his master’s in biomedical engineering at the University of Iowa. He earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa, Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine where he earned a research distinction tract.

Dr. Kumar completed an internship and residency in surgery at Oregon Health and Science University. As a volunteer, he has served at St. Martha’s Hospital in Bangalore, India.

Rosemari Davis, Chief Executive Officer of Willamette Valley Medical Center, said she is pleased to welcome Dr. Kumar to the hospital staff.

“His research, clinical and educational experience is an asset to our hospital and will benefit our patients tremendously,” she said.
