My commitment

As the new Chief Executive of Willamette Valley Medical Center, I am focused on the hearts of those I serve and the relationship I have with each individual. You, your family, our employees, physicians and community members deserve my very best, and I will work to provide exceptional service every time. This is my personal mission. This is my commitment.

My focus

If good leadership and good healthcare grow out of love, then there must also be an ongoing focus on trust and interpersonal integrity. Trust allows open and candid discussion without manipulation, hidden agendas, or minimizing real problems.

These are turbulent times for the healthcare industry, and we need to push beyond pretenses to provide sound solutions. My personal vision is that we will provide such exceptional, honest care that every community member in need of healthcare wants to go to Willamette Valley Medical Center. This is my focus.

Leadership defines culture. A leader's demeanor, tone of voice, code of ethics, and even sense of humor seem to be adopted by those who follow. Service, accountability, fairness, excellence, trust and integrity are my personal values. This is who I am. This is who we are striving to be at Willamette Valley Medical Center.
